Renovation Ride
Five days. 258 miles. Two teams. One cause.
The Cause
In an effort to rally support for the 509 Capitol Court Campaign, members of the NACD staff will hit the road pedaling in July 2008. They will bike 258 miles in five days, July 14-18. The ride will begin in Ohiopyle, PA, and end in Washington D.C. on the Friday of the 2008 NACD Joint Summer Board Meeting and Legislative Conference.
The Teams
Participating staff are divided into two teams: the Newbies and the Old Pros. These two teams will compete with one another to see who can raise the most pledge money for the ride.
Newbies: Lisa Lerwick, Naomi Watson and Mary Hammon
Old Pros: Brad Ross and Arthur Ganta
The Goal
We hope to raise $50,000 in pledges, but...
- If we raise $100,000 in pledges, one officer will participate in the ride.
- If we raise $280,000 in pledges, all officers will participate.
