NACD's mission is to serve conservation districts by providing national leadership and a unified voice for natural resource conservation.
NACD Distinguished Service Award
Summary: The Distinguished Service Award recognizes an individual within the association who has made significant contributions to the conservation and proper management of our nation’s natural resources.
Eligibility: Nominees can be involved with districts or the association at any level. Past officers are also eligible.
Selection: The Distinguished Service Award is open to nominations. The recipient will be selected by the NACD Awards Committee.
Number Awarded: 1
Award: The award recipient will be honored at the Annual Meeting in New Orleans in February. They will receive one single day complimentary registration to the meeting and a plaque. They will also be recognized in NACD Publications and on the website.
Nomination Deadline: September 30, 2008
To nominate a district, fill out the nomination form and click "Submit" at the bottom of the form. You can also email the form as an attachment to beth-mason@nacdnet.org or print the form and fax it to (317) 782-0606.
