NACD Friend of Conservation Award
Summary: The Friend of Conservation Award recognizes an individual, business, organization, agency, etc. outside the association for outstanding contributions to the conservation of our nation's natural resources.
Eligibility: Any individual, business, organization or agency that is not directly associated with conservation districts at the local, state or national level is eligible to receive this award.
Selection: The Friend of Conservation Award is open to nominations. The recipient will be selected by the NACD Awards Committee.
Number Awarded: 1
Award: The award recipient will be honored at the Annual Meeting in New Orleans in February. They will receive one single day complimentary registration to the meeting and a plaque. They will also be recognized in NACD Publications and on the website.
